While the easing of restrictions means that some safety measures are no longer a legal requirement, we feel it is important to continue with certain measures to be on the safe side.

At Hearing Dogs for Deaf People and The Grange Restaurant & Gift Shop, we are following a ‘cautiously sensible’ approach to keep our customers, volunteers, recipients, and staff safe.

Hands Face Space Fresh Air

HANDS

  • Everyone is encouraged to wash their hands regularly and for 20 seconds, and hand sanitiser stations remain in place.

FACE

  • We encourage you to wear a face covering when not at a table, however the decision is yours.
  • Staff and volunteers will continue to wear a face covering together with a badge reading “If you need to lipread me, please let me know”.

SPACE

  • Please maintain a sensible distance from others when moving about The Grange.
  • We will continue with our popular table service and contactless payment, and increase table bookings to 12 people for indoor dining.

FRESH AIR

  • We will continue to ventilate the Grange Gift Shop and Restaurant and offer outdoor dining on the terrace and the courtyard, set amongst our beautiful gardens.
